Terms and conditions of sale
Updated · August 2026
These terms and conditions govern all transport bookings made on firstclasstt.com with First Class Ground Transportation · Registration No. 008680 · Boodram Street, Enterprise, Trinidad & Tobago. Any booking implies full acceptance of these terms.
1. Scope
First Class provides private chauffeur-driven passenger transport (VTC): airport and station transfers, city-to-city rides, hourly hire and long-distance trips, performed by licensed professional drivers with vehicles insured for commercial passenger transport.
2. Booking and confirmation
Bookings are made online on firstclasstt.com, by phone at +1 868 473 8631 or by e-mail at terrance@firstclasstt.com. A booking becomes firm upon payment and receipt of the confirmation e-mail summarising route, date, time, vehicle and price. The client undertakes to provide accurate information (addresses, times, flight number, passengers, luggage, contact details).
3. Prices
Prices are in euros, all taxes included. The price displayed at booking is FIXED: it does not vary with traffic or actual duration for the booked itinerary. Changes requested by the client (extra stop, new destination, hire time overrun) may incur additional charges, communicated beforehand where possible.
4. Payment
Payment is made online by card through a secure payment platform (Stripe, 3-D Secure). First Class never has access to full card data. An invoice is provided after payment.
5. No right of withdrawal
Passenger transport booked for a specific date and time is not subject to a cooling-off period. The change and cancellation terms below apply instead.
6. Changes and cancellation by the client
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup: any amount paid online is then fully refunded to the original payment method (usual bank delay of 5 to 10 business days). Within the same window, the client may change the pickup date and time (but not the addresses) directly online from the "Find my booking" page, or by contacting terrance@firstclasstt.com or +1 868 473 8631, quoting the booking reference. Less than 24 hours before pickup, online changes and cancellation are no longer available: requests must be made by phone; up to 50% of the price may be retained, and the full price is due for cancellations less than 4 hours before pickup or in case of no-show. Changes are subject to availability.
7. Delays, waiting and flight tracking
For airport pickups, the flight is tracked in real time when the flight number is provided: pickup time adjusts to actual landing at no extra charge. Reasonable waiting time is included (airport: time needed to collect luggage; other addresses: 15 minutes unless stated otherwise). Beyond that, waiting may be charged or the ride treated as a no-show.
8. No-show
If the client does not appear at the pickup point within the included waiting time and cannot be reached at the details provided, the ride is due in full. Clients must remain reachable around pickup time.
9. Cancellation by the provider
If the service cannot be performed (breakdown, accident, force majeure), First Class will endeavour to offer an equivalent replacement. Failing that, the ride is fully refunded, with no compensation beyond the sums paid.
10. Luggage, children and pets
Luggage must match the capacity of the booked vehicle and remains under the client's care. Child seats (infant, child or booster) are provided on request at booking. Pets are accepted only by prior request, in a suitable carrier (guide dogs always accepted).
11. On-board conduct
Seat belts are mandatory. Smoking and vaping are prohibited. The driver may refuse or terminate carriage of any person whose condition or behaviour compromises safety, without refund. Exceptional soiling or damage to the vehicle may be invoiced at the cost of restoration.
12. Liability
First Class is bound by an obligation of means regarding schedules: it cannot be held liable for delays or damage caused by external events (exceptional traffic, weather, checks, force majeure) or for indirect losses (missed connections, schedule impact); clients should allow an appropriate margin. Carriage liability is covered by the insurance mentioned in the legal notice.
13. Personal data
Booking data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy available on this site, in compliance with the GDPR.
14. Complaints and mediation
Complaints should be sent to terrance@firstclasstt.com within a reasonable time after the service. Failing amicable resolution within 60 days, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad & Tobago. Failing amicable settlement, the courts of the registered office of First Class Ground Transportation shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
